Wondering how far North I would have to go to fish/find temps under 80.
Thanks

Bald eagle was 80-81 when I was out Tuesday catching gills. Talked to some musky guys at the landing and they were out since 4am (this was 5pm) and they saw 1 fish... 3 people in the boat.

| I haven't been over there for a few years but it always amazed me how much cooler the Apple River Flowage water temps were in August,,if you have a wisconsin license.
When it gets this hot we just take a swing at Mile lacs usually it's ok but haven't heard any recent water temps. With all the expanding development I pretty much see mile lacs has a metro lake.

I have to imagine after two days of rain the temps must have dropped.

Temps are supposed to go down by the end of the week. The nights have been cool so at least some of the central MN lakes should stay cooler throughout the day. I'm looking forward to fishing locally again, though it's probably a couple weeks away yet. It's a good thing gas has been around $2 / gallon or the wife would probably have moved in with her parents by now.

I had 80.6 yesterday on Bald Eagle. Kids were catching sunfish and jumping in the lake.
