I have one, mine is an 8' XH. Good rod for the price and it has held up well with then exception of a small spot that peeled on the cork grip.

I have the 8 1/2' and use it for trolling big cranks. Have not used for suckers but I think it will be great.

Ive had a few of these. Good rods for the money. My cousin has one that the reel seat keep coming loose.

mudhole.com has heat shrink handle grips that work great.
