| does the trim position or cavitation plate angle on a kicker changes anything ? is it better that it follos the hull angle ? it is on a stratos 219f 19 feet fiberglass boat with a jonhson short 15 hp 2 stroke and the prop should get clean water from eyeing it !

Location: Wisconsin | I would think that you would want to have a long shaft kicker on that boat or at least a bracket that allows the prop of the kicker to get below the bottom of the hull. I just installed a 9.9 long shaft on my Crestliner and a short shaft would have not gotten even close to being far enough down. |

| Trim angle is unimportant , you can negative trim for musky trolling at 5mph to push the bow down or if you can't quite get slow enough for crawlers you could trim up a bunch to slow even more. As long as your main motor helps you steer your fine. |
