LOVE mine the handle can be unscrewed great for fitting in the rod locker and if your not fishing on a regular 3 day a week or so it will Really make things SO much easier on the hands/joints!!! Hardly took me any time at all to get use to good size grip easy to adjust to a comfortable position ;-)!!

Love mine. It's a much more ergonomic position than using the foregrip and/or palming. Only concern I had was figure 8's. 4 fish later in the 8...never had an issue. Get one. You won't regret it.

I have used it for bucktails. It is great for throwing blades, makes it a lot less painfull burning big blades. Takes a hour or so to get used to after that I wouldn't be with out it. I know some guys that love it for jigging also, I will be trying it for that soon.
I would get one you will be happy

Bought one at the Milwaukee Musky Expo 2 years ago, and they even gave me a 25% military discount. Use it for jigging Bondy baits...it relieves some of the pressure on the back and shoulder and redistributes some of it to the arm. Extremely comfortable! It's also great on figure 8's.

I put one on my big blades set up and the other on my big plastics rig before a week long trip in July......one word review - Terrific!

I was a reel palmer in those applications and after a week, I had zero claw hand and forearm fatigue from the big blades and I also believe it helped reduce the fatigue between my shoulder blades (that had to have been the reason because I certainly haven't gotten in better shape). Ripping the dawgs was much less taxing on the body with a more ergonomic grip.

Also to echo what others have said, figure eights are easier and there was a "getting used to" period of about an hour or so when casting right handed and switching sides. I then tried left handed casts and that was easier for me to adjust to with the jig ripper being on the foregrip.
