Heading up to the NW Angle tomorrow for a week. Have not seen any recent reports this week and was curios how the bite has been for ski's. I had some buddies up there in mid-July and crushed the big fish. Since then it seems like it has slowed down some.

We always go up in early to mid august and have had ok luck. It seems that there is usually a really good bite early to mid July, then it kind of slows down for a bit. What is other peoples experiences like during August?

Location: Lake Country, Wisconsin		I've had great August trips. and others that made me want to switch back to July. It all comes down to the weather really...if you can avoid big storms, big winds, bad bloom and extreme heat then it's usually game on.

I'm headed up myself this weekend...looks like it was a challenging week with some pretty big storms, a big wind day, and some heat. I imagine anyone who really tore it up this week earned their stripes
