| Guys: I am heading to Canada in two weeks and trying to find somewhere I can print out solunar tables for the location lat/long I will be at. A google search was ugly. Most don't do Canada. The others want $12 for a lousy PDF. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

| Whats crazy is with those apps you will get different major and minor times.
one will start a major minor at moon rise or set, and the other will start it one hour prior, which i thought was the correct way
or they will be totally off on those times..
its really confusing....

Dave T. is right...different apps do it differently.
They all care about the moon's key moments, overhead, underfoot, rise and set but some set the majors/minors with start at rise, end 2 hours after. Some do 1 hour before and 1 hour after.
For example, I use isolunar
It does everything with rise, overhead, set, underfoot in the middle of the majors/minors.
Majors are 90 minutes either side of Overhead/Underfood for 3 hour windows.
Minors are 45 minutes either side of moon rise/set for 90 minute windows. |

Then you don't need a silly app. |

| Haha, I use it as a guide especially if there isn't much weather and the fish are moving but not biting...to hope that during the next moon phase window, they will get active. That or adjust when I might take a break, etc. More of a guide on when to take breaks or revisit spots where I've seen fish when fishing all day...
Or see if any of the phases fit with patterns from previous days on a full week trip.

thats what i thought too, but some sites/apps i looked at werent even close on those numbers! i dont know what they were using...
