Just wanted to share my new personal best for numbers with everyone. On Wednesday night fishing after work until after dark (5-9:30) I popped seven fish!!! All came casting too which makes it even more special for me. We had a few days of hot humid weather and Wednesday night with a big storm front was approaching, the fish were going nuts. None of them were biggies (31, 33, 33, 36, 36, 36, 40) but it was the fastest fishing I've ever had. The number could have been higher, but had a few get off, some pretty close to the net. It sure makes up for all those fishless days and slow lazy follows. I have heard of days like this - but never thought I'd ever see one. I guess that even the blind pig sometimes finds a acorn. Or maybe like a blind SpongeBob finding a PayDay!!! I wish everyone could have a day like this........you never know!!!!!! Best of luck!!!!!! ToddC

Great job Todd!!!!!!!!  Keep at it, and it will happen to you again now that you know what to expect/do/interpret.  Bet you're still shakin!!!

We had a 5 fish over 40 day a couple weeks ago on Lake Michigan, and we went back last week to try and duplicate it, even with an approaching storm and got blanked.  DOGHHH!!!!!!  The water had warmed considerably, and the flats were void of any kind of activity.  It makes me alot more appreciative of the day we had now.

Great job, Todd! We just logged about 55 combined hours of fishing and raised 6 plus caught 2. Both were less than 30". You ROCK!

Congrats Todd, thats a awsome night. We scored two fish that night then got chased off by lightning. One was a slob. Got to like days like that, it makes up for the slow days.

Just a side note, a friend of mine who shared the pattern with me last week caught 15 fish..... the biggest I believe was 43. I have never been a big jig fan fishing for muskies, but this did open my eyes to the use of jigs. All the fish I caught were on jigs and about all of my friend's were too. My wife won't be too happy though.........later this week I'll be in Rollie & Helens looking to build up a jig arsenal!!!!!!
