I am fishing the WalleyeFIRST WInnebago Walleyes tourney Saturday with Shep, then Sunday Sue and I are headed to the GOON! Can't wait, if for no other reason than there is NO PHONE.

Where are you headed the weekends on both sides of the 4th, or for the entire week if you are fortunate enough to be on vacation?

Eau Claire this weekend with Curly, Sluggo and families. Should be a great time. Then Monday morning heading to Marinette County with the wife and kids for some family fun. Will be hitting High Falls - Caldron Falls and maybe a U.P. Lake or two.

Heading to the lake Saturday for 8 days when the other 2 Sponges return from the coast; hopefully will jam down on some rockfish, 'gills, wallies and juvenile barse. Gotta break in the new camper and get away from stark reality, whatever that is!:O

No fishing for me this weekend, I will get out tonight and Sun. night but that is it. On Sat. morning I'm heading back to La Crosse to spend the weekend with family. Dad's Birthday, the pastor that married my wife and I is retiring so we will be attending his retirement party and also spending some time visiting my brother-in-law who seriously injured his foot in a farm accident on Tues. He spent 3 hours with his foot lodged in the auger of a grain wagon, still a chance he may loose it. Good luck to all, God bless.

I finally got my cast off last Wednesday, and everything healed fine. I will finally have a full weekend on Pelican and other Rhinelander area lakes.

Action fishing on some smaller lakes just west of Fifield, although I may get a surprise biggie on the Flambeau River in that area.

First shot at really getting the kids in a boat for fishing during the musky downtime.

Headding up to Jason Smiths house for a small tourny. Will be nice to see him and curly again. Will be fishing our match against Theeds and Slugo. Mark Sankey will be with me to try to put a hurt on the boys in match fishing. Never fished that water but its the only time we can do the match fishing thing.

I will be fishing Pewaukee Sat. morning. If anyone is interested let me know. I have room for another in my boat. As a matter of fact, if anyone ever wants to hit some SE waters, let me know. All of the people I fish with down here are pretty lazy, and don't like to put in the time. I am usually out by myself. I do however have to be off of the water by 10 AM as I have to crush some fingers putting in a deck with my cousins.
Good lungen,
Joel

Taking the weekend off. Family is all back home this weekend so I'll be doing things a little different than fishing every free moment. It's been fun though! Getting the boat ready for Minnesota will be my primary focus in the next couple of days. Can't wait!!!

We'll be on the Manitowish Chain for some night fishing, and to hopefully kick some butt in match play against Plitzzz.

I will be fishing small lake West of the Metro this weekend. It will my first muskie hunt of the season.

Was on my honeymoon the first week of the season, and Dad took on a rock with in Canada with the boat. Just got it back yesterday. Gonna hit it hard Saturday and Sunday.
