Location: Rhinelander. | Sorry I did not get this up soooner but with my mother being ill I have been so busy.
First let me say the folks in Eagle River went all out for us again. I missed thursday night and arrived late friday but can attest to the fact they are wonderful host. I thank everyone that helped.
Tony and I saw fish but were unable to entice them to eat our offering. Clear skies made the fishing tougher then last year.
Years ago ago black bucktails with orange blades were the hot ticket. I guess I should have stayed with it longer from what we heard sunday.Fish were caught on a variety of baits and in the weeds and some deep.
The number of fish caught was not as great as last year but average for tournaments held there. This is a wonderful fishery but not know for large fish yet there are some there. Our congradulations to those that placed and caught fish.
