When fishing a bulldawg on a moderate to fast retrieve they don't seem to run proper for me, the wire harness looks straight and the eyelet seems to be fine but they tend to run on their side most of the time. Any suggestions on how to get them to run properly at speed?

Try bending it to one side, if it makes it worse bend it to the other side instead.

if its a solid wire harness you should be able to tune it using previous suggestions given.
also if you like/have success working the bait fast get a set of the 1/2 and 1 oz attachable weight systems, works wonders for fast or deep presentations and also straightens out rollers.
if you got alpha dogs try a 1 oz weight, makes an entirely diff bait out of it.
