| So i just connected my XI5 to my HDS uints with the gateway cable, and i get a ton of interference when using the trolling motor, use the total scan transducer mounted on the transom of the boat.
Any suggestions to get rid of this ? |

| try changing your transducer settings in the HDS. may need to update as i dont know if the totalscan is listed in the transducers.
your trolling motor and graph are not run off the same batteries, correct? the power and transducer cables are not near each other? |

| The sounder is up to date, and the total scan transducer selected.
The motor runs of 2x12v in the front, and the HDS by a single 12v placed in the other end of the boat, the only cable going from one end of the boat to the other, is the gateway cable. And the sonar image is clear as ever when the trolling motor isn't running.
Ordered some cheap ferrite ring magnets from ebay, so they get a try when they get here.
Might try the use the old transducer and sidescan transducer in the weekend if i get a chance to hit the water.
The interference creates enough disturbance to mess up the recorded tracks when i'm trying to use them in reefmaster after a day of fishing.

| Different motor and unit (bird and kota) but I had the same problem. Ended up being a loose barrel connector for the sonar. |

| Should say it was the universal sonar connection inside the motor head. Doesn't sound like that is what u are using but make sure everything is tight |
