What makes the new dive rise jerks special? Can you achieve the same action with a weighted suick or a suick with a egg sinker on it? I haven't seen the new baits action really at all so I don't know really what they do in the water

Which baits are you referring to specifically?

I have one of the original intimidated never used it much it's big and heavy but it's going to see more water time this year. There just a bigger profile in the water then the suick .

That makes sense, haven't seen one in person so not sure how big they are but they seem pricey, I understand barfighters because its a small one man company but looked alittle at the intimadator and said ill just play with suicks more instead

I can't speak for the Barfighter as I haven't been willing to pony up the $$$. For the Intimidator it is just profile, IMO. I like the weighted ones quite a bit as they have a nice hang time, but that could be achieved in a suick by adding weight. They are all technique baits to be sure.

The Barfighter isn't what I would call a deep jerkbait if compared to a Big Daddy. It does have a unique action that sets it apart from other jerkbaits.

I agree with Will. The barfighter is not a deep running bait. Even with the weight in it. Like Will said it shaking action is a little different than standard dive and rise jerk baits. I doubt if the fish would turn down any other bait and only hit this one,
