| Ill be moving to Appleton WI at the end of july and would like to do some musky fishing because i have been stranded out in ND for 6 months and haven't been able to find musky. That being said, is there any point in spending time on the fox near appleton, or do i head somewhere else farther away? Not looking for spots, just looking for bodies of water to fish.
Thanks! | |

| Winnebago system has muskies in it and it could drive you crazy to try to figure it out and get consistent action.
Green Bay is good. Fox River in Green Bay holds fish.
Cauldron Falls near Crivitz.
Maybe Noquebay near Crivitz.
Or head a little north to Eagle River. Tons of lakes in the northwoods.

| Elkhart lake, green lake, and little green lake are good smaller lakes. | |

Location: Wisconsin | Cloverleaf chain, random lake, Elkhart, Poygan/winneconnie/butte des morts, shawano, and of course Green Bay. A few great rivers close by as well
