| How'd everyone do? Indy was brutally slow today, and seemed to be for everyone else that we talked to. Harriet sounded like it was bumpin tho. |

My dog that is. I have a 1 year old pup I brought with. 1st cast he jumps in after that he barked a lot. Latter it started to rain when I was putting on my rain gear he bit my 9 Inch suick let out a yep looked over he is pulling rod tip bent over I yelled no he opened his mouth and it popped out I was scared #*#*less after that he just layed on the back deck so I had a great day no muskies but it could have been a lot worse.

| Moved 7 fish on gliders blades and top water 10-20 fow, one of those follows was the biggest fish I have ever seen 55+ easy and as wide as a basketball! Hooked and lost a mid 30's boat side on a 6 inch phantom, had a blow up on a lake x and caught a lot of decent sized pike (that lure is a secret ;)?). All an all a decent day I'm just excited to go throw around moby dicks way point tomorrow!

| 2 hours of fishing on Bald Eagle before the trolling motor crapped out. Got a 36" and had two other follows. Not bad for 2 hours on opening morning playing follow the leader with about 30 other musky boats on a lake just over 1000 acres.
Can't complain about the action but now I remember why I don't fish the metro very often anymore.
Ugh |

| Got a 41" lost 2 others that nipped the bucktail. Saw 14-15 others with 4 to 5 being the in 40" range. Good opener with seeing a bunch of fish! I also can't complain that the weather held out for the most part |

| I was using a jr cowgirl and moving it pretty quickly, they seemed to want the faster retrieve on Saturday. That's just what we noticed |

I dealt with Bald Eagle last year at opener and vowed not to mess with that again! I don't mind the metro after the season is well under way, but it is a zoo opening day.
This year my brother and I went to Central MN, fished 2 different lakes. Had 14 fish up ranging from mid 30s to mid 40s, only a couple nipped at the baits. Others were pretty lazy. Follows were on bucktails, suicks, and rubber. Could have done without the 20mph wind but it was a nice weekend otherwise.
Tallest Cabbage we could find was key for us. Had 10 of the follows (several different sized fish, so they weren't all repeats) from one spot alone. |

Location: Maplewood, MN | Fished Bald Eagle from 5-10am. Moved about a 40" that went around 4 times. Really thought she was gonna eat buuuuut she didn't. Weed growth was odd. They have done a weed kill already which created a really unique inside weed edge that usually isn't there. Wish I would've fished the lake differently than how I did. Also wish I had started at noon when the wind, clouds, and rain came and fished all evening.
Great to be out though! |

| Should be a good metro tourney this comming Sat,,,last sun was the capable partners outing on Tonka,,out of ten boats 8 fish caught including a 51 incher for a kid,,percentage wise that means their should be about 167 fish caught in tourney, maybe not that many but I bet the leader board looks pretty impressive. |

Location: Chisholm, MN | Actually the biters ate on a pretty fast retrieve. The bigger fish we got came in on a super fast burn in the first turn of the 8. It acted like an august fish. |
