Does anyone know of a good campground in the Minocqua area?  A buddy and I are heading up on July 5th, and all of the inexpensive motels are booked.  It is much cheaper to camp, so we are going to go that route.

So, where are the good campsites in the area?

Thanks,

Scott

There are many State and National Forest sites. Carol, Razorback, Plum, Clear, and Trout Lakes are to name a few.

The Hideout is only 30 minutes from Minoqua, and is cheaper than camping. The trailer is ready to go except hot water, and if you shower in the evening beofre the water line cools down, it will serve one warm shower. Oven, stove, heat, three beds, charging for the boat. If you want to use the hideout, feel free, I will be on the Goon but Keith will be here!
