Do any manufacturers produce prescription, mirrored polarized sunglasses?  Solarbat and Costas have both told me "no".

Don't know who told you Costas don't but the online webstites have mirrored/polarized prescription glasses available..
I am going to the eye doctor over the next couple of days to order a set of Progressive (Old man) prescription sunglasses w/ green mirror polarized lenses...

Just called Costa and asked, they absolutely do a mirrored/polarized lens in their 580p material.

I received (and dumped) an email from Costas telling me they don't do mirrors on prescription glasses.  I'll try the old route (a phone call).  Thanks for the tip!

You must've spoken with an intern because I own a pair of prescription 580P blue mirror costa corbinas. A little pricey, around $600 but worth every penny. Putting in contacts at 4am and hoping they don't dry out by noon was always a struggle for me. Prescription costas are where its at!

I have mirrored Costas that I use when I wear contacts. Finally tired of putting on contacts so took in the Costas and had a glasses shop replace the non-prescription glass with an exact duplicate - all the Costa layers plus mirror and a protective layer on top and I'm kicking myself for not doing this sooner. The best pair I've ever owned. I imagine you can do with other brands, but I had Costas.

I used to get mine from Wal-Mart and cost is about 100 for the lenses only (single vision) and the frames I had gotten there are about 45 (145 total).

I now get the lenses at Sam's and they are about 75 for the lenses. At Sam's you can get mirrored coating (blue, green, silver, red, and gold) and that runs another 47.

Both will make lenses for your RXable frames you have.

Don't ask if they work better than the other name brands, what they heck do I know, I'm blind!
