I have an abu garcia revo s about a month of fishing with it. I used it last Sunday and had no problems but Wednesday I went out and i was only able to cast about half the distance as usual. It pretty much looked like I was casting a lure half the weight of what the rod is rated for. Also it felt a little loose when reeling. Fairly new to Baitcasters so I was hoping somebody here could point me in the direction to fix this issue

Check all the screws that you can see on the outside. If that doesn't do it, they send it back to Abu in Spirit Lake, IA. They'll get it back to you within a week depending on when you are.
