I'm hot on the trail of a Tuffy 1760, and was wondering if any owners of said vessel located in SE WI would be generous and allow me the pleasure of a ride along. The one I'm trackin isn't available for some time but I'd greatly appreciate the opportunity to scratch this itch.

I have a 1890GT and the ride is great. A little slow out of the hole but it has an aluminum prop and the motor needs to be moved up a bolt hole. I am very satisfied with this boat.

If ever in the Twin Cities area we can head out on mine. I have a 1760 Osprey GC with a 115hp Merc. It like it. It's a fishing machine. Wish it had a little better pull for skiing and maybe a pylon to double as somewhat of a family rec boat too. But from just a fishing perspective it's great. Hole shot is decent. Speed around 3500rpm is around 27-29mph.

I wanna thank all those that generously offered to help me out. I got the chance to ride in a couple. I loved the layout and they seemed to fish bigger and rode great. Now just got to get the approval from the boss.

Good deal! Good luck with the boss.

I too had a couple Tuffy owners give me some great help and assistance. Rob Williams uncovered his boat and talked to me about it for about 30 minutes back on a 5 degree day in January. He and another X-190 owner have helped me work through a few issues and questions I have had.
