| In the market for a new boat and was set on a new tuffy but have switched gears a little. I recently picked up duck hunting and was thinking it might me a good idea to pick up a rig that is capable of both. I don't want to compromise fishing capabilities too much as its really my main focus. I know Lund makes the outfitter in a fall marsh color. Was looking for some input as to the performance of these as a multi species platform. If you have any experience running one I would like to hear your thoughts. I love how glass boat perform and if it's a boat that's constantly pushed around by the wind I would rather just go with the tuffy. I know Lund makes a quality boat but would definitely be open to another brand if it met my needs. A front casting deck of some sort is a must for me. I would prefer the added room of a tiller setup as well. I do fish some big water so it has to be reasonably capable. Let me know your thoughts? |

| I didn't see that as a color option on the website? Do you you have a picture of what it looks like. A tuffy of the right color would easily be my first choice!! |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | It's a custom color. I've sold a few over the years. The color is a greenish tan, pretty much what you would expect a duck boat gelcoat color to be. Non reflective. |

| How about getting that Tuffy you want, and putting a camo vinyl wrap on it?

Now there is an idea. Plus, when you decide to trade in the boat for another, you can remove the vinyl wrap and have a great looking poly flake finish to dazzle potential buyers. |

Location: Central Illinois | My brother has an 18 ft Alaskn that we have been duck hunting from and fishing out of for 20 yrs. It is a great boat for both activities. I've had a chance to look over an Outfitter and the advantage the Alaskan would have for duck hunting is without the front casting platform it would carry quite a few more decoys. You might want to consider getting an Alaskan and for fishing building a casting deck that you can pull out for duck hunting. If you do it right it will look good and when you want to fill the boat with decoys you can pull it out. Just my thoughts. |
