French River

Subject: French River


Anyone ever fish this? I was thinking about making a trip there but I don't want to have to troll to catch them. Is there any structure to cast to or is it all trolling?

Location: pgh., pa		I've been to the upper French river several times and have a trip planned this september. You don't have to troll to catch muskies. I've caught them both ways casting and trolling. There is tons of structure for the caster. Rocks , rock reefs, boulders weed flats, sunken islands, etc. Jerkbaits and black bucktails with silver blade do well. Jim
