| Can the Tuff Shad be used for casting or are they primarily a trolling lure?
If not, an favorite crankbaits, deep divers, in this size?
Back to the Tuff Shad. Is it a floater at rest or does it sink.
Does it rise quick, slow, or not at all.
I'm thinking about getting a few to add to my spring (casting) line-up.

Location: NE Ohio | yes, good for casting. nice rattle. floats at rest, as long as leader isn't too heavy. depend on leader weight on how fast it will rise. runs a little deep for my liking in a spring bait. 4" bakers work very well also. |

| Tuff Shads can be casted but I agree with Pklingen they run a little deep. Baker 4 in. and the new Crime Boss by Boss Shad along with Alley Cats L Ps are my primary spring casting baits. The Crime Boss is new this season but is fast becoming a go to bait. |

Location: Racine, Wi | Slammer makes a 4" deep shad. We do very good trolling them, but I also do well casting them. |
