| I just purchased a new boat and I need some recommendations for setting up my trolling rod holders and my tracks system. What brand(s) do you recommend? I am used to using rails with down east rod holders but I am looking to implement some brand of flush mounted tracks systems on my gunnels. I looked into the Cisco tracks-but they are expensive for two 60 inch track systems in the back and a 12 inch in the front.
I am going to be fishing big water and will be running multiple lines so if anyone has any recommendations on rod holders for fishing 6+ lines on the great lakes let me know.

| I like my berts tackle system tracks and Great Lakes planer rod trees. Berts makes trees as well, but I thing you can generally find Great Lakes trees cheaper. Berta's also makes blocks that slide into their tracks that you can use the clamp styl down east saltys with. |

| 5' track is a very long for running 6 lines (3 lines per side?) I run 3 rods in 24" track, its tight but doable. 3' or 4' track could save you some money.
What were you thinking with the 12" track.
Are you going to be trolling solely for musky?

| I really like Fat AZ Muskys rod holders. He uses a tried and true Downeast rod holder and fits it I to a bracket that fits in a track system. Google Fat AZ musky. Good luck |

| I run a combo of Cisco and Fat A Z on my boat. Cisco makes top quality trolling systems. You get what you pay for. I use short cradles w/chicken rings ( 4 of them ) and 2 Fat A Z holders. In my opinion by the time you put a track system together the cost is about the same no matter which you choose. Consider using Ciscos optional add on plates. 3 rods can be mounted on one base. This is the 3 rd boat I have transferred my set up on to When I bought it I considered it a one time life time purchase. I have not been disappointed. Good luck. Choose the best you can afford. |

| I'll be using the front 6 or 12 inch tracks for a sucker rod in fall and the back tracks primarily for fishing big water. |
