| I have an Esox 1760 with a Yamaha 150 on a 6" jack plate and want to add a kicker motor. When the motor is placed on the starboard side it interferes with the steering cables of the big motor. If placed on the port side the tiller hits the port gunnel when turning to the starboard. I believe you ran a setup similar to this. What did you do to deal with these problems? The kicker is a Yamaha T-8 with power tilt and trim.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Get the static plate from Panther, or the Panther lift. It will set the motor back out of the way far enough to get the motor out of the way. | |
