| I've got 2 HDS 10s that are networked together and look like they are sharing the waypoints properly.
However, they are not sharing the routes and trails. Is there a setting that will allow the units to share those too?
Also, I have a buddy that has an HDS10 that I want to share that data with him also.
How do I merge my data with his? I do not want to overwrite any of his existing date, but merge my data with his.
Please advise.
Thanks - Midge

| Can I plug an SD card into one of the map chip slots and export it that way? And then plug that SD card into my buddy's unit?

| As far as I know you cannot share trails/routes via ethernet, you can copy them via an SD card in the map chip slot.
As for sharing data with your buddy, that depends on how the data is organized on each of your units, some waypoint data can be lost when downloading because Lowrance has chosen to have those things be proprietary instead of some standard. |

Location: MN | Gpsbabel is a free app that will covert most any saved data to another format. Check it out. When I switched to Humminbird transfered all way points and routes from Lowrance no problem.
Good luck.
