The future of muskie fishing -- not only these 1100 yearling muskies that were stocked into Okauchee Lake, but this 3 year old is just as important to our sport. Someday maybe he will catch and release one of those muskies when they are 50"!

The story about this stocking was on the first page of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Sports section this morning. It got almost as much ink as the Packers upcoming draft! Great effort by the club. The fact that the fish were large yearlings, 14 to 18" long should mean a much higher survival rate. The club, MCW, and some sponsors really stepped up to the plate financially. I believe the number cited in the article was $14,000.
