Anyone fish the St. Louis River last couple of years? I hear mixed things about it. I know the flood a few years back changed things. I was wondering if it's still worth a trip there this summer?

i've asked a few times. its hush hush. dnr isn't stocking again until at least 2017 to gauge natural reproduction, but Keyes hit it in their last series. lots of smaller fish up and coming

Yea I've seen the keyes episodes. Seems like they struggle when they are out there LOL
I've also been told that since the flood the navigation buoys have been removed up river. That makes me nervous

From what I have seen the WI strain fish have out numbered the GL strain fish the past couple of years.

It's not like it was 5 years ago. I can tell you that.
