| Making a trip to this area in the summer. Would be the first time I would be on this water. Is it worth bringing my musky equipment? If so what are some tips on the lake? Any main structures (weed edges, rock bars, inside turns etc..) That I should be looking for? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks | |

Location: Wisconsin | Great body of water. It can be fairly busy with pleasure boaters, but it is worth your time to fish. Follow the current up River and fish any structure directly adjacent to the current. A couple spots in the river I would be fishing would be the bay in front of the Flying Finn bar and grill, the large stump fields just north of there on the east of there, as well as musky bay and Lawrence island. In boom, I would fish the steep, rocky shore line along hodag park, all the way to the neck down leading to thunder lake. In general, use bright colors such as orange, fire tiger, white or chartreuse because that water is pretty stained. Most importantly, be careful... Lots of stumps and floating dibre
