If your in the Midwest SpeeDees. Otherwise use FedEx. Try not to use the USPS or UPS. USPS breaks 1 out of every 4 rods I ship with them.... UPS breaks 1 out of every 10 rods and will NOT honor insurance. FedEx has broken 1 rod out of the last 1000 or so I have shipped with them and when they break something they pay their insurance. You can also find a tube to ship in at most hardware stores. Get a carpet tube and cut it down to fit the rod +1" and then wrap the crap out of the tip of the rod with cloth, paper, bubble wrap ect to protect it and keep it from moving in the tube. Enjoy James

What James said. I did have UPS honor insurance on a damaged rod last year- a miracle! Ship in schedule 40 pipe if possible.
Jeremy
My final straw with UPS was when they told me they would not honor the insurance because I shipped in a round tube and a square was stronger than a circle.... I asked the CS lady if she knew what a unknown science called "physics" was and if she understood it.... She did not like me after that....and she still denied my claim...
