| hello guys ,would anybody that owned or fished out of a stratos 219 F 1997 or similar model have opinons because i am looking at a clean one owner, garaged boat,it has an 175 intruder and i know about these so please more about fishing ,rod storage ,stability and agility on trolling motor, i have a terrova 80 that i,d put on . and i can't see it for a while so would like all your toughts , thanks . |

| Really nice boats. Back then, it was one of the few boats that would handle 8' foot rods in their rod box. Fast hull as well. Very solid boat. |

Location: Warroad, Mn | Had that exact boat for a good number of years. Great boat! Handles the LOTWs well. Tracks well behind the trolling motor, and fishes well. The Evinrude will burn lots of gas. Highly recommend the boat! May want to repower some day, but fast (60+) with the Intruder. |

lots of gas even with a light foot ? what are boat low points if any ? thanks

Location: Not where I want to be! | I have fished out of one several times. The hull is great, very seaworthy. The interior layout in mho is a disaster. The rear deck has a really big step down to the floor. The side storage compartments in front of the counsel are raised about 2 to 3" above the rest of the deck. Between the big step in the rear deck and uneven front deck area, it makes fighting a fish dicey at best especially if you have rough windy conditions. All depends on how agile you and your partners are. |
