| I'm planning to head down south next weekend for the first time. Wondering if the netting is done and fish are back in the lake. Also what is the spawning situation. Any tips on what area to fish( wide portion vs narrow northern side) and what kind of tackle to use would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to pm me with any pointers. Thank you in advance.

| From all the reports I have gotten it has been awful tough over there lately. The Nets are out but the water has not heated up enough for the fish to get out of their spawning funk. If you could wait a couple of weeks the bite should really pick up. If you can get the weekend off the IMTT has a tournament coming up on spring the 16th and 17th. | |
