Hello, I'm new to making my own bucktails and having trouble finding the #10 magnum blades people are using. I ordered some from Hagen and the 10# were pretty small then tried Worth and theirs are larger. Finally tried Lakeland but they are out of stock. My question is where are people getting the #10 Magnum blades to paint? Thanks I have ordered them from Musky Shop, LureMaking, and lure parts on line and they all seem to have the same #10 blades but I can't find that size in bulk. Thanks for your help in advance.

What are Mag 10s? Is there a current bait maker making them with Mag 10s?
The only ones I know are Mag 8s which many call #9.

Lakeland calls them Magnum. Worth has a Mag 8 which is a Lakeland Mag 9. Worth also has a Mag 7 which is a Mag 8 in Lakeland.

Moores Lures is a great resource. Lure Parts Online. Lakeland if you don't mind waiting forever.

Hagen has them in steel and you can buy smaller quantities then they are priced just need to pay a little more. The sizes are not exactly what you expect so check their size chart before ordering.

You can order plain brass from worth and lakeland, lakeland doesn't put that in the catalog, you have to ask. Worth has it listed IIRC on their site.

TI has probably sold over 5000 since we came out with these 10 months ago. Been a huge lack of supply from Worth and Lakeland so we started making blades now along with skirts. Here are the TI blades. Painted and metal #8 and #10 blades. Probably the best price you will find them for too. #8 are 024 and #10 are 032 thick.

$17.99 per 10 for #8 Colorado Blades
$19.99 per 10 for #10 Colorado Blades
Also sell them as singles.

Well I guess I figured it out. Worth just sent me a sample mag#8 which ends up being what everyone is selling as a size #10. That company sure is nice to deal with.
