Finally time to fire my usual boat mechanic (mean as h*ll, not great at Optimax fixing), anyone have any suggestions within 20-30 mins from Arlington Heights/Palatine area?

Thanks!

I just bought my first new boat from Liberty Marine Center up in Grayslake. It's a bit outside of the 30 minutes (probably closer to 40), but the work they did rigging the boat and battery setup was tremendous. The boat is a Crestliner, so they specialize in Mercury motors, and it's a family owned and operated business, which I personally appreciate. I will be taking it up to them for yearly service even though I'm in Des Plaines and Cabela's is closer. I will say that the people at Cabela's have always been really nice and I have a friend who takes his boat there.
