hey guys, first post. me and my dad are looking for smaller lakes in Wisconsin to kayak fish for skis, walleye, smallmouth. we live in northern il. ideally were looking for no motor lakes with camping. thanks a lot. if you have any river recommendations that would be awesome too.

Check the DNR publication "Wisconsin Muskellunge Waters". It lists the type of launch for each lake. Though there aren't a lot of them, there are a number of carry-in lakes. http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/Fishing/documents/musky/WisconsinMuskellung...

Can camp in several spots along the Flambeau and Wisconsin rivers.

Agreed on floats down either Flambeau or Wisconsin Rivers.

Not quite WI but just a bit further, check out the Sylvania Wilderness area in southern UP. I have a number of friends who go there to camp and fish with kayak and canoe and they hammer the smallmouths each year. http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/ottawa/recarea/?recid=12331
