I was looking at the 8' Heavy and don't have the ability to check it out before buying. Has anyone used it? Is the lure rating of 4-10 oz accurate? Was hoping to be able to use it for bucktails and cranks in the 2-3 oz range.

I just picked one up this spring haven't had a chance to try it yet though. But it feels like a nice rod I like the larger butt that they put on these rods and these rods are lighter than others with the EVA foam. Looking forward to testing it out in may!

FWIW I love my Veritas 2.0 7'11" XH for throwing single 8s. It's hauled in a few 40"+ fish and was a whole lotta fun doing it. The Toro is on my radar. Can't way to hear what you guys think of them.
