Who do you guys recommend for a walleye charter on Lake Erie? I would prefer one that offers lodging other than a hotel if possible.

Don't know of any captains, but Bolles harbor and the Michigan/Ohio Line is ON FIRE right now. That must be the best dang walleye fishing in the world. We had a big wind storm yesterday that will shake things up, but before that guys were hauling 3 man limits with several fish over 10lbs. Im hoping to hit it on Sunday. There are so many huge fish in Erie right now its unreal. If anyone is interested in info and reports on this fishery this is the place to go

When do you plan on going? It's a big lake and certain areas are better at certain times.

Early June. I realize this is not the prime time for large fish, but we have a group of five and this is when we are all able to get together.

Lorain area is probably your best bet in early June. There will still be some real nice fish there then too. You will probably have to get a hotel in the area. Look up My Bonnie charters his name is Marc Battone or call Craig at Erie outfitters they will set you up. If your not familiar this is the central basin(Ohio)

As mentioned earlier Summer Break he will be in central basin in June out of Geneva state park marina. June is BIG FISH time in the central basin 10 lbs. is not uncommon with a lot 6-8 lbs. fish he will be with D B Sport Fishing Charters. Check them out on the web. GREAT captains. Accommodations not a problem.
