I currently have a 998 Humminbird at the console of my Lund Impact. I'm thinking of adding an 1198 but am not sure about the configuration. The photo, below, looks great, but will it block my vision? Anyone have similar?

I had the same idea but I don't think they will fit behind my windshield.

I'm picking up an 1199 tomorrow and will know for sure when I get the boat out of storage after Easter. Will update at that time.

I have an 1198 on my console, I used this mount to keep it out of my line of sight:

I used the top-mount version, the side mount might work even better depending on how your rig is set up.

I had a regular RAM mount when I first set it up...it was too high and I had to sort of squat up to see over the top of the 1198. Didn't like that at all.

I'd forgotten about that option. I will have to see how things fit when I get the boat out storage in a few weeks. Thanks.
