Location: SE, WI. | Built a couple Lit'l Bro's from my original Splashtail. About 3.5 " long. Bass size Flaptails! Also; a custom Buzz bait. Used my Swimmerhead , and Hand Poured BAT Splittail. Makes a large profile for a Buzz bait. Your Thoughts???

Location: oswego, il | They look great. How well does the buzzer work? Looks like you need to burn that one? I have played around with adding a big quad plastic blade into the mix. That blade produces a ton of lift while the metal blades make the noise. Allows the bait to run much slower. Will try and post a few pics. Mine are in line as opposed to a spinner bait style. |

Location: SE, WI. | Gerry, this mini was helpful in winning a bass league back in the early 90's at Musky Bills. Though bass eat them, the musky really seem to attack these mini Splashtails. Great little bait for kids to toss also. JD |

Todd, You have a keen eye for buzz baits......back to the drawing board on the buzz bait. it did get on plain ok, but the area from the line tie to the head needs to be set back, as the skirting was tangling with the props:( I tied some hair on the collar, and that helped with lift, but not with casting distance. Mini's worked great. The copper splashtail was the winner:) JD

Location: SE, WI. | yes, Brent. In this smaller version , I wanted to try a thinner blade, .028, and .030. I've used the .035, and .039 and it is a tad tail heavy, but still caught fish with the thicker blade. Just adjusted the front wire a bit:) JD |
