Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | I just received the news from Mike's wife (Judy) that he passed away this afternoon..it was a long battle with COPD - Mike, I love you, rest in peace! God Bless Judy and the family as they mourn your passing. I will always remember our times together as long as I live and will look forward to your hug when we meet again! My world is now a very sad place..as I mourn your passing. But I will celebrate our times together!
Love, Al |

Location: Mauston, Wisconsin | Mike was a master troller, he taught me a lot, and he also got me hooked on muskies circa May/June 1995- "Hey Al, do you want to go on a Canadian flyin with us? I know you like big pike, this lake doesn't have any pike, but its suppose to have big muskies in it, they're just like pike." That trip was the begining of 21 years of great fishing adventures.

LOL! I'll never forget the trip to Dogtooth, when he drove up to the house with a Chevy 4WD truck and no boat. He left with the Jeep and the boat....a classic Canadian fishing trip story that we laughed about many times afterwards..
Kay Lake was our muskie lake.
