| Savage has come up with some impressive looking swim baits called the Pre Rigged Line Thru Trout. The pre Rigged means they have a built in leader to avoid bit-offs.
Has anyone successfully fished these Line Thru Trout’s for musky’s and if so what is the preferred technique?
A pull-pause, fish as jerkbait-twitch bait, or just slowly retrieves with an occasional crank or 2 of the reel? Like to hear what been working, before I waste X-hours trying to figure the thing out.
Thank you,

| hello, i have fished with the 8 inch line thru trout for awhile now, no hits on it but its beautiful to see it swim. and no tension on the rod so its a break from hard pulling lures. i got fast sinking and it still comes to the surface fast but you can let it drop to the bottom and still stays upright ! very life like !i do slow retrieve with a 4.6 winch maybe they want faster ! | |
