What do you guys think is the best brand am/fm CD player for my boat? I have a Jensen MSR 3007, the CD works fine, but even with the proper antenna , I seldom can get ANY radio stations. Doesn't make any difference if I'm in Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota. Can't even get local stations. Any ideas are appreciated.

Have you tried an amplified antenna? They can really help.

Satellite radio is great.

But I couldn't imagine my ship without an IPod. I don't always have music on, but when it's right, I have a few mixes made up that are perfect for the occasion.
Or I have friends that bring their own mix.

Sony makes a very affordable head unit that has plenty of power, AM/FM, and an IPod docking station. Built in sub-woofer and equalizer also. I can get you the SKU # if you'd like. I have an antenna already that works just great.
