| My owner's manual says I need 2-12volt batteries with an AmpHour rating of 115 to operate efficiently.
I was wondering which batteries and size you guys would suggest and why?
Thanks.

| I prefer group 29 batteries or group 31 if you can get them in your tray and always look a reserve capacity in the highest number of minutes possible. 160-210
Have had Trojans and Interstates both good batteries. Have had a couple of sets of ever start max marine batteries from walmart in a few different boats and they have served me well. Most important thing is to watch water levels and charge after use right away. You will get 3 or more years of hard use out of the batteries for sure. In 2013 i pulled a set of batteries out that had a 2004 date code on them. Yeah the couple of seasons prior to my pulling they were getting weak but you can sure make em last with proper maintenance. | |
