I'm looking for some good (educational as well as entertaining) muskie fishing DVD's to order, what would you recommend? Not looking for streamed stuff from Youtube or similar, has to be physical discs to put in the shelf. Also interested in similar DVD's about northern pike fishing.

Understanding Your Sonar and Interpreting the Display ( Part 2 Advanced ) Bruce Sampson

Old but everything still applies, He uses Lowrance but basics are the same for all

I dig out the old musky hunter shows every once in a while

I think it's pretty tough to beat the old in-fisherman DVDs they put out...

Musky Mayhem did videos that were both informational and highly entertaining. Lots of big fish and included lots of other guides and fishermen like Gregg Thomas, Hamernick, Tony Grant, Bill Buechner, Kevin Cochran, Ty Sennett and others. Videos like Perfect Timing; Big Blades, Big Muskies; and Focus on the 8.
Also the first couple Badfish videos were good. For just entertainment Living Lac Seul and Go Fish were pretty good.

I think the Badfish DVDs were by far the best. Wish they still made them. Also if you fish WI Scott Kiepers small pond monsters is pretty good, and so are the Tanner Wildes DVDs

The Badfish Outdoors are my favorite. Entertaining and educational, if you're looking to learn (not instruction-driven, but you can definitely learn from them).

Go Fish was very entertaining. Keiper's was also a good watch. Haven't watched others in a while.

Muskies on the Shield by Dick Pearson. I've watched 1/2 dozen times over the last 2 winters, and of course the week before our LOTW trip every year.

I'll second propster. The Mayhem videos are good and educational. Thomas' are as well but he fishes down south too much for my liking. Others are good too, but don't have as much teaching, more catching based.

Is this one by any chance related to "Muskies in the Shield - A to Z" with Bob Mehsikomer? I ordered that one but maybe it's not the same one.

Thanks for the input guys!

My order...
1) Sondag's - "Go Fish" very good. Maybe best ever.
2) "Muskie POA" is also Very Good.
3) Any of the Badfish muskie vids were great.
and Keiper's - Small Pond Monsters.

Sondag's is the best followed by Bad Fish guys.....I get most shows today gotta promote the sponsors but boy oh boy...how many times can you talk about Bucher lures, Colors, etc....at the end of day....go out and buy 8 different lures (Bucktail, Jerkbait, Glider, bulldawg, Bondy Bait, tube, top water, crankbait) and go out and put time on water. Nothing trumps time on water and understanding the baitfish populations and areas to fish on that certain body of water. Get out, stay out and start slinging baits...get "fishy". Find the fish....
