I am going to put a on board charger in my boat this spring. I have a 24 volt power drive trolling motor. I have been looking at the minnkota chargers. Just wondering what others have in there boat. Also what is the best choice for amps per bank. I see they have a 5amp and a 10 amp.

I've used the Minn kota chargers on my last two boats. No complaints here

Minn Kota 3 bank 10 amp per bank is how I would go. I have had mine for a while and it has served me very well. I would not think 5 amps would be enough to charge overnight for consecutive days use.

Mine is a dual pro that was installed by Lund. It's been a great charger

I run a 24 volt 80 Lb thrust trolling motor and for the past 6 years I've used a Minn Kota 210D on board charger. The 210 is a 2 bank w/ 5 amps per bank. Never had a problem attaining a full charge overnight, even when I really wear down my batteries.

After reading a few threads on different forums, I've decided to go with a Minn Kota.

I've been using a Cabelsa 15 amp dual for 3 seasons with no problems. Used one on my other boat for 10 yrs. from cabbalas with no problems and as far as I know it's still working.

Last summer I upgraded from ancient Dual Pro 3-bank system to a 3-bank MinnKota Precision 345PC. It gets 15 amps per bank. I love it and it's been awesome.
