I'm just getting started with muskie fishing and I'm looking for advice on what lures I should be buying. I know the assortment is huge. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Assuming that you will be casting some must have lures are bucktails (6s 8s 10s) rubber baits.. I like medusas but some argue the tails arent as good as bulldawgs.. and a few crankbaits. Shallow invaders are very good on greenbay. I'm not sure how good top water is on greenbay but I have had success on jerkbaits like phantoms on greenbay. Good luck

Green Bay is a Beast to learn. The baits are not as important as the locations that you need to fish. Take your time and learn the water. Find the small cabbage bed that are out there. Once you do that the baits are large bucktails 8's and larger Rubber baits I have had luck with rise and fall jerk baits out there as well. I have tried top water over the last two years and have never had a strike on it. Not saying they wont hit it I just have never seen it. Most of your strikes are on bucktails burned and rubber. If you have more questions message me.
