I have some ideas for a new rubber bait, and want to get as much information as possible on the process of making rubber baits. I would more than likely have to make the mold and everything. Anyway, the more information provided the better. Thanks in advance!

Good deal! I use formula #502. You can add hardner or softener to it, and any color in the book. For molds I first make the positive out of clay then pour Crystal Cast casting resin over it. The simplist designs are open cavity caus you can just pour out of a glass or metal beaker. Twister tails are fairly simple, just pour a complete circle and use a cookie cutter to cut an offset hole off the center.

Good Luck, you might get it right the first time but it's mostly trial and error. It sometimes pays to think outside the box!

try http://www.lurecraft.com/catalog.htm they used to supply Musky Innovations, makers of the Bulldawg
