I think I'll save Leech, Cass and Bemidji until later in the year. I'm going to try to fish one of the smaller lakes in the Bemidji area and hope that it's not too crowded.

I'll be doing the same thing in the same area. Weather's not looking too stable or warm for the week leading up to the opener, so I'm thinking Cass is going to be cool and slow. Smaller area lakes are where I'll be.

You beat me to the question. Most likely I will be fishing Minnetonka, unless I decide at the last minute to fish my new Lake Z.

I will probably be joining a few friends on Mille Lacs. I will know later this week. We have someone going up to check the weeds in the southern bays on Thursday. Otherwise I don't know.

Will be joining the Fargo-Moorhead chapter on Big Detroit, which is sort of becoming an annual opening day trip for me and my boat partner.

Friday can't come fast enough for me!
