Location: Northern Illinois | I haven't been up there yet due to work and surgery to take my Appendix out which really sucked, but I was wondering how everyone was doing. My uncle is up there now and had a lot of lazy follows from small fish and a nice 40+ follow hard only to turn away all on High and Fishtrap. He's getting back so I can let everyone know how he did. Also, any other lakes in that area that you've hit that did anything?

Location: Kildeer, IL | We were in the area this weekend, and didn't do very well. We got two fish (43, 37) on Friday, and that was it. We saw a lot of fish on Saturday, and a couple of fish on Sunday. We burned four fish on Saturday, so it was our fault that we didn't catch anything. Most of the fish we saw came from 4 - 6 feet of water on jerkbaits (Suicks, Burts, Magic Makers) and topwaters (Jackpot and Topraider). Find the weeds, and you'll find the fish. | |
