Anyone want to talk about their sleeper baits. So not the newest sexiest baits but the off the wall or forgotten baits. I will put out there bandit 300's. I have seem a few fish taken one these. They are often trashed after one fish.

Seducer. Not really my sleeper bait, but my brother in law. It does catch fish. It seems nobody talks or talked about this bait very much.

Spinnerbaits. I rarely see people throwing them but they sure produce for me. They are fun because you get lots of bonus fish in addition to the skis chomping them down.

I think people are stuck in the mindset that if they are going to throw a blade bait, it has to be a bucktail.

I had a ton of action for a couple seasons a while back on 10" Storm Kickin' Minnows. Stopped using them because they were trashed after a few hits or a few hundred casts, whichever came first.

Tallywacker. It generates a lot of noise, vibration and commotion in a relatively small package. There are some newer spinning tail prop top waters that are a little bigger and more popular that seem to get all the attention in this class of lures.

Nickle and Black Double Cowgirl, a consistent producer for me. Always seems to end up on my rod almost every trip.

Spinnerbaits after dark came to mind instantly for me and during daylight it would be a Musky Candy in blue/silver.

I like these as well. Can be had for $7.50 each on overstock bait for their truckload sale now. Usually listed as $15, but 50% off now.

I like to detach the bucktail shaft and use the blade & bell part for adding to the front of other lures. Works pretty slick!

The old Musky Magic Slidin' Shads have always been a favorite glider of mine, but since Doug quit making them several years back my supply is diminishing because not only is most of the paint gone from all of them, but the wood is about gone, too!

I love old bucktails, too. Give me a Mepps Musky Killer tandem hair bucktail, black skirt and nickel blade and I'm confident as ever!
