| Looking for recommendations on a rattle bait rod. Length Power action. Do you guys use bass rods? Would also like to use it for smaller bucktails. |

| Tackle Industries 9' MH
Perfectly matched to what you want. I have one and use it for exactly the same application. You will not be disappointed.

Location: South-Central PA | I've used 3 for my rattlebait rods: 9' TI MH, Lamiglas 8'6" XH (not anywhere near a true XH), and a Phenix Recon2 Casting 796H. My favorite is the Phenix, it's a heavy powered bass rod. It has the perfect light tip and powerful backbone needed to throw the 1/2oz to 1.5oz traps and fight big fish without pulling the hooks. It's a 7'9" rod but I built mine to 8' and paired it with a Revo SX spooked with 65lb PP. It's a wicked combo that also does great with small bucktails and gliders.

Location: Lake County Illinois | I really like the 8'6" or 9'3" Okuma EVX Heavy for Rattle baits or light bucktails. IMO Okuma's Heavy is comparable to a MH in other brands I have tried. |
