Ok, so I like to troll...throw stuff at me now if you need to. I troll both salmon and muskies and though the Tuffy 1760 (insert commercial) is a great rig for trolling, its tough to get 9 to 12 rods out to wherever I'm going to troll without them basically joining to one. Would love to get one of these (see attachment) but dont want to have to mount it permanently. Does anyone know of a "tree" like this that can be clamped on to rails?

I had the same kind of problem I have the tuffy 1760GT. What I did was were the back deck screwed into the boat (I don't have a back deck for my 1760 osprey) I took a piece of 1" plywood drilled holes to match were the deck screws in and bolted the plywood to the side of the boat, put on top 2x6 screw that to the plywood. Than screwed the Scotty triple rod holders onto that. pretty not really but sturdy and gets the job done and with 4 bolts the hole system comes off.
